What is an IELTS Exam Preparation Program?
IELTS stands for the International English Language Testing System. The IELTS PREPARATION PROGRAM at GV Victoria focuses on both the IELTS Academic (AC) and General Training (GT) modules. Learn important test-taking strategies for each section of the IELTS test: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
We also offer FREE monthly IELTS Preparation Seminars on how to prepare for an English exam such as the IELTS test. The IELTS preparation courses we offer at TCE have been extremely helpful for our students in reaching their goals, like attending a college or university throughout Canada and abroad, or immigrating to the country of their choice. IELTS prep students who seek an intensive learning experience can select any of TCE’s exciting afternoon elective classes, including the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) electives, Business English electives and many others.
Who is this course for?
You might take an IELTS test if you wish to study, work, or migrate to a country where English is spoken. The test measures your level of proficiency in English on a scale of 1 to 9. Our IELTS preparation course in Toronto, ON will prepare you to achieve your desired band score on the IELTS exam. As well as improving your confidence for using English in different situations, the course will help you improve your ability to read, write, and converse.
As an international test, IELTS is accepted by Canadian immigration authorities (Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship Canada – IRCC), higher education institutions, as well as more than 11,000 employers, universities, schools, and immigration bodies around the world.
The IELT preparation course with TCE requires an upper intermediate level of English.
